Looking out your office window and seeing this.

my neighborhood

Weird. Perfect kelly-green lawns, near-identical houses, SUVs.

Had some of this feeling in San Francisco yesterday. So much English everywhere it sort of made my head hurt, being able to understand every single conversation going on around me.

  1. Hi Amy! I have to say, after seeing all your awesome photos of exotic places, it is a culture shock to see the burbs. How clean and sedate, and sad to say, a little mundane :-) I enjoyed reading your guys’ blog…I looked forward to it every couple of days.
